Mark your calendars for an upcoming study led by our Theological Intern, Adam MacNeil, of the book, Encampment: Resistance, Grace, and an Unhoused Community, by the Toronto author, priest and activist Maggie Helwig.
Through reflection on scripture and stories from Helwig’s book, we will be considering the theme of “Home” — how we create and experience home in the midst of displacement, crisis, and loss. The study will take place on November 8, 15, and 22 from 12:15-1:30pm in the Spence Room. Advance reading is not required, but strongly encouraged.
Copies of the book can be purchased through Indigo or at your local Canadian bookstores. Please speak to Adam for more information.
