Alongside Hope’s Wild Ride has officially concluded. We are happy to announce that we have surpassed our goal of $60,000 to purchase solar panels for St. Luke’s Hospital in Nablus, the West Bank. A total of $81,033.80 was donated nationwide, more than enough to purchase and install 140 solar panels at the hospital. Every donation made was matched by a generous donor to make this project an impactful one. St. Luke’s serves 455,000 people including 57 villages and 4 refugee camps. It is the only charitable hospital in the West Bank and consequently, 40% of its patients are uninsured. Palestinians are covered under the Palestinian Authority which is underfunded and relies on International NGOs and local charities; this is a much needed tool to keep the hospital functioning.
