The air we breathe, the water we drink, the forests and fields, and all the riches of creation are gifts from God. We have been entrusted with their care and called to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the Earth. Yet injustice, corruption, war, wildfires, floods, pollution, inequality, and excessive consumption threaten these precious gifts.
Our Christian response is faithful stewardship—planting, repairing, conserving, living simply, giving generously, speaking up for justice, and showing up to care for God's creation.
