If you have a garden or just a plant or two outside or on a balcony, plant native species!
They need less fertilizer, less pesticides, they are less susceptible to diseases, they are low maintenance, and they look great! Plants also clean up our air. And native species are not invasive. By choosing native species, you are giving the local ecosystem (and us!) a better chance at a sustainable existence.
