The Cathedral will soon place an order for numbered envelopes for 2027. Over the last few years, the number ordered has declined. Much of that is due to the wisdom of many of our parishioners and friends who have opted to set up pre-authorized givings arrangements. Others prefer to use e-Transfers, also an efficient and safe way to donate. That's just great!
For our other donors, please consider the following:
- If you don't use any envelopes and regularly place cash on the collection plate, let us know and we will order numbered envelopes for you. Note: You are eligible for a tax receipt if you donate $20 per calendar year. You can only receive a receipt if we know who made the donation...must be in an envelope.
- For 1st time donors, please include your full name, a mailing address, a telephone number as well as an email address if you have one. Or if you intend to be a regular donor, please let us know and we will order a kit of numbered envelopes for you.
- If you are using plain envelopes and donating regularly, please ensure you include your full name and donation amount on the envelope or let us know if you’d like to receive numbered envelopes .
Good to Know
The kit for numbered envelopes includes a dated envelope for every Sunday, a monthly envelope for donations to Alongside Hope, should you wish to do so, and an envelope for special givings during Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
There is no obligation to cover the cost for numbered envelopes.
